Holland Active Tour in The Netherlands with hiking, biking and canoeing
Holland Active is a tour to get acquainted with The Netherlands in a more active way. From the dunes and the seaside to the Dutch mountains end ending in the peat-moor swamp, this tour will lead you through some of the Dutch landscapes. Zooming in on nature values as well as ecology and farming, there is still time left for art and history when we visit the Kröller-Müller museum (Van Gogh/modern art/sculptures) and one of the oldest cities in The Netherlands Deventer. Deventer also is one of the best kept and restored cities in The Netherlands but not yet discovered by mass-tourism. On our way back we go through the world famous Dutch polders.

Although active, the tour can be done by everyone who is capable of walking 5 miles, with a fair break if necessary. The canoeing can be changed for a trip in an electrical boat.
Included: guiding services, rent of bikes and canoes, mileage and fuel, lunches, hotel half board, admittance fees, overhead costs
Excluded: evening diners, souvenirs and personal expenses, transfer costs for your booking
Itinerary:
Day 1: Pick-up and introduction at Zaanse Schans Windmills cultural heritage site. Afternoon bike riding and walking through the dunes and at the beach; evening walk (optional)
Day 2: 5 mile walk at lateral moraine hills, Dutch pancakes and moving around on a self-bike train lorry; evening walk (optional)
Day 3: Biking in a national park with a visit to the local museum (Van Gogh paintings, art, sculptures), lunch in the field with Dutch cheeses and Dutch wine, city walk in the medieval city of Deventer. Evening walk and Belgium beers in a Dutch brown cafe/brewery.
Day 4: Canoeing in the peat-moor swamp and return through the polders. End of tour
